Description

The ASTM A335 P22 pipe specification includes “Chrome-Moly” seamless Alloy steel pipes and alloy steel tubes. It comes in multiple grades from P-1 to P-91. We offer our customers high-quality alloy steel pipes and tubes with black painting, anti-corrosion oil and galvanized finish as per consumer’s requirement. This alloy is distinguished for its tensile strength, corrosion resistance, high-temperature strength and cost-effectiveness due to which it is in demand for power generation, refineries and petro-chemical purposes.

The most common application of grade P22 pipe is in the power industry and petrochemical plants. A335 P22 alloy steel pipe commonly suitable for bending, flanging, and other related farming operations as well as for fusion welding. Chromium is the vital compound of stainless steel. Any steel with 12% or more Chrome is considered stainless. Chrome is incomparable to resisting oxidation at high-temperatures. It will exceptionally improve the tensile, yield, and hardness at room temperatures and that is the reason the A335 alloy steel pipe makes it ideal for power plants, refineries, petrochemical plants, and oil field services where fluids and gases are transported at elevated temperatures and pressures.

A335/SA335 Grade P22Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes are Carbon steel pipes with the addition of chromium, molybdenum, and sometimes vanadium. Chromium, or chrome, improves high-temperature strength, increases oxidation resistance and raises the tensile, yield and hardness at room temperatures.
